Dear Bishop Chito, Shalom! The Tagaytay Religious Association (TRA) under its Voters’ Education Program will host a local Candidates Forum on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Divine Word Seminary, SVD Tagaytay City.
The two contending mayoralty candidates running for the May Election and their city council aspirants are invited to present to the public their party platform.
The TRA are interested, among others, to know the candidates’ poverty alleviation program; “vigorous program to protect the dignity, rights and livelihood of Cavite’s laborers, farmers, fishing communities, women and poor settlers;” and “comprehensive plan to protect ecology in Cavite.” (your pastoral letter on April 29, 2007).
